RC New Chemical Resources, Inc. was incorporated on July 11, 1974.
The company was founded by Sergio C. Gatmaitan. Engineer Gatmaitan earned his bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from FEATI University graduating Magna Cum Laude and earned the second place in the 1969 Chemical Engineering Board Exam in the Philippines.
